Sridevi’s film to face troubled waters due to presence of two Pakistani actors?

Actress Sridevi made a comeback to movies with a fabulous performance in Gauri Shinde’s ‘English Vinglish’. She will be seen in a movie called ‘Mom’ which is directed by Ravi Udyawar. The movie already started with the shooting in March in Delhi and has almost completed the shoot, but just a day before the last day of its schedule, it hit a major roadblock.

  • According to a well-known tabloid, the movie is facing troubled waters due to the presence of two Pakistani actors, Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali in it. The ongoing tension between India-Pakistan has already caused trouble for movies like ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ owing to the presence of actors Pakistani artists Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan in them respectively.

A source quoted, “After Delhi, we had a two-month schedule in Georgia in May. The remaining portions will most probably be shot in Mumbai but it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon given the current situation. We’re waiting to hear about the final schedule.”

‘Mom’ is produced by Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor is the producer of the film. He said that one day’s work is pending. He refused to comment on the release of the film.
