Abhay Deol’s take on Pakistani artists ban: I don’t take the Govt seriously

Abhay Deol

Actor Abhay Deol has impressed the audiences with his varied choice of roles in movies and his last outing as a Pakistani, Bilal Ahmed in ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ was much appreciated.

  • In a recent news conference, Deol spoke about the entire Pakistani artists ban controversy and his comments will leave you surprised.

He said, “If you want to ban anything to do with Pakistan, then go the distance. Don’t just ban the filmmakers, then ban imports, exports etc. When you do half a job, no one is going to take you seriously. I don’t take the Govt seriously. Right now it’s not looking like you mean it, it just looks like it gets you a lot of publicity and makes noise. I will support if you think banning anything to do with Pakistan is going to help our jawans.”

Well, this man who has always been away from controversies and making any sort of comments has indeed given a strong statement that makes us ponder. The only celeb till now who had the audacity to question the Government and ask for a complete ban on Pakistan. Must say, this man talks real sense.
