The makers of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ have been struggling over the endless controversies surrounding their movie due to the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in it. So, the CEO of Dharma Productions, Apoorva Mehta and Mukesh Bhatt met Home Minister Rajnath Singh to come up with a solution for the peaceful release of the film, that is slated to release on October 28, 2016.
After the meeting, Mukesh Bhatt has informed the media that Mr Rajnath Singh has lent his complete support to the movie and will be personally meeting Chief Ministers of other states to ensure the movie gets a smooth release.
Bhatt spoke about the same to a popular daily, “What we are asking is our legitimate right to conduct business which is the fundamental right of an Indian. The movie is a universal family entertainer. There is no point for a fellow Indian to fight a fellow Indian. Why is an Indian fighting an Indian and making a Pakistani feel victorious? We should be together. You have a different way of expressing your sorrows of what happened in Uri and I am also very upset. But by being upset I don’t have to kill my fellow Indian for no fault of his. What is important is Diwali is a festival for the entire family and it’s a romantic family entertainer that is coming and keeping the spirit of the festive season in mind, why should we spoil Diwali of our own people. Let them go and enjoy Diwali by seeing a good movie which can facilitate happiness.”
Now, this is some respite for the makers and we too are equally happy and cannot wait for the movie’s release. ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is written, directed and produced by Karan Johar and features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in main roles.
