Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On 2’ team’s epic move to counter ban of Rs 500/1000 notes.

'Rock On 2'

Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On 2’ team has found a unique way to help their fans with Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes having been declared invalid. Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s currency revamp has taken the nation by storm. The step was initiated by the PM to counter black money issues.

Fans who were stumped with the PM’s move, were worried that they would now have to buy the tickets for the musical extravaganza online. Now buying a ticket online comes with a snag, you have to pay a little money on ‘convenience fee’. To counter this issue, the ‘Rock On 2’ team has teamed up with the PVR cinemas, so that their fans do not have to lose the extra cash. They have slashed the ‘convenience fee’ that is otherwise charged when you book film tickets online.

  • Paytm has also joined the club with a fantastic offer for the ‘Rock On 2’ fans.

Now it remains to be seen if this initiative works for ‘Rock On 2’.

‘Rock On 2’ starring Shraddha Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai and Purab Kohli hits the theatres on November 11.
