Bollywood hunk John Abraham whose last release ‘Dishoom’ went on to mint at the box-office will now play a new role. The actor has been roped in as the brand ambassador for Arunachal Pradesh tourism. He has confessed that he shares a unique relationship with the North East that has always fascinated him. The actor not only owns the Northeast football team but has also participated in a marathon named ‘Run for North East’.
John Abraham said, “I am honored to have been chosen to promote the tourism of Arunachal Pradesh. I have always been fascinated with northeast India: each state has its unique beauty, history and culture. It (Arunachal) is a state rich with culture, mysticism, great people and stunning views. When I’m there, all I need is some music, my boots to walk around and a mind free from all worries to be able to embrace the mesmerising beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.”
BE Viacom18, has partnered with the State Government to promote the tourism in the state. They will work closely with the State Government to educate people about the various attractions of Arunachal Pradesh. A special Audio-visual brand film for Arunachal Pradesh tourism will be soon released.
Arunachal Tourism Secretary Joram Beda said, “John has played a pivotal role in promoting Northeast India, primarily by putting NEUFC on the map of sports. We believe our association with him will strengthen our purpose of putting out our state in the Indian diaspora as a prominent tourist destination.”
On the career front, John will be seen in upcoming action dhamaka ‘Force 2’ that stars Sonakshi Sinha too.
