It was recently reported that Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sarkar 3‘ has gone on the floors and megastar Amitabh Bachchan has already commenced with its shoot. But, now the movie has run into troubled waters over copyright issues. According to reports, a distributor Narendra Hirawat has accused Varma of copyright infringement.
Hirawat and his lawyer have sent a legal notice to the makers of ‘Sarkar’ alleging that his company solely owns the rights to the film and only he has the right to make a sequel or prequel of the film. He has threatened to go to court and will obtain a stay on the movie’s shooting if the filmmaker doesn’t relent.
‘Sarkar 3’ features Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh and Ronit Roy in important roles.
