This morning, the writer of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer flick ‘Chennai Express’, K Subash passed away. K Subhash, son of R Krishnan was a well-known Tamil film director and writer of Hindi films. The real reason of his sad demise is still not known, but it’s indeed a sad moment for the film industry.

  • Subash started out as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam in ‘Naayagan’. After many films down South, Subash moved to Bollywood, but due to a few failed attempts as a director in Bollywood, he started writing for films. Apart from ‘Chennai Express’, he has also penned the script for ‘Housefull 3’. He had also worked as the chief associate to Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi. May his soul rest in peace.
