Karan Johar’s recent release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ is all set to join the 100 crore club soon. The filmmaker is thrilled with the response his romantic saga has been receiving. But controversies surrounding his film refuse to die down. A new trouble has raised it’s head. It is regarding the Mohammad Rafi comment in the film that has irked the fans of the legendary singer.
Recently, Sonu Nigam had lashed out at K JO on the issue. He had said, “I do not wish to comment on the issue but the person who made the movie should consider if he is OK making fun of his own father in the same way, then they could go ahead and make fun of legends.”
Vidhu Vinod Chopra had something to say on the same lines. He said, “I have not seen the movie and I have no plans to. I am not interested in watching it anytime.”
Finally, in reply to all this bashing Karan took to Twitter and wrote, “Filmmakers making irresponsible remarks at events..singers reveling in self-importance…press releases sent to mask insecurities! Ufff….”
