‘Dangal’ enters Rs 300 crore club in India and becomes the highest grosser of the year overseas

Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal‘ has finally beaten the collections of Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ overseas. The movie has grossed Rs 577 crore worldwide in just a span of two weeks. In India, the movie has crossed the NETT business of ‘Sultan’ and earned Rs 303.96 crore. The gross business of ‘Dangal’ in India is still lower than that of ‘Sultan’ which had done a business of Rs 419 crore. There are many chances that ‘Dangal’ will beat ‘Sultan’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ by this weekend. The movie stands at fourth position in highest grossers of all times. The first position is occupied by Aamir Khan’s PK’ at Rs 741 crore, followed by Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ at Rs 604 crore and third position is occupied by ‘Sultan’ which earned Rs 583 crore.

  • But, ‘Dangal’ has managed to collect such a huge amount in only two weeks so there are high chances of the film moving ahead of the top three movies.

    ‘Dangal’ helmed by Nitesh Tiwari stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar in important roles.
