The first week business of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon-starrer ‘Raabta’ is disastrous. The movie grossed around Rs 19 crore nett and it has fared equally bad in the overseas market. The movie could not gain much right from the start. But, one had expected at least more than Rs 20 crore. The other movie which released last week, ‘Behen Hogi Teri‘ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan in lead roles is even bad at the box office. The movie did a business of only Rs 2 crore nett, but then that’s what one could have expected from the movie which had less promos and less promotions as compared to ‘Raabta’.
Talking about Irrfan Khan-starrer ‘Hindi Medium’ which had released last month is a sleeper hit and collected Rs 6.25 crore nett in the fourth week. The four-week total of the movie is around Rs 59.50 crore nett and the fourth week business is the second highest of the year after ‘Baahubali’ and with another week, the business could finish around Rs 64-65 crore nett.
