The Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon-starrer ‘Raabta‘ which released last Friday has proved to be a disaster at the box office. The movie which was mounted on a high budget has done really poor business. The movie collected Rs 1.75 crore nett on the first Monday which takes it’s total four-day business to Rs 14.86 crore nett. After a disastrous weekend, the movie showed a drop of around 60% on Monday. Considering the current trend, the movie aims for a Rs 19 crore nett in the first week and that’s too low. Sushant’s star power could not help save the fate of the movie which has turned out to be disastrous.
The other release ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles is a disaster as the movie did a business of Rs 20 lakh nett on Monday. The four-day business of the movie is around Rs 1.30 crore nett and that’s too low. There is no hope for the movie at all.
This proves that none of the movies managed to survive at the box office and hence, the week has been a bad one for the Hindi film industry.
