The first two day collection of ‘Poster Boys’ and ‘Daddy’ remains dull

Arjun Rampal-starrer ‘Daddy’ and Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol starrer ‘Poster Boys’ hit the screens this Friday. The story of the films is in contrast with each other. If one is based on the life of gangster turned politician the other is a humorous take on vasectomy. There was much hope that the two will manage to set the box office ringing with their collections. But, sadly they have not.

Where ‘Daddy’ managed an opening of Rs 1.25 crore nett from Mumbai. On Saturday the film collected Rs 1.50 crore nett. So, that takes its two day business to Rs 2.75 crore nett. Let us see how it sustains in the weekend.

On the other hand Shreyas Talpade’s ‘Poster Boys’, collected around Rs 1.75 crore nett on the first day. The movie raked in Rs 2.50 crore nett on Saturday. So, that takes its total two-day business to Rs 4.25 crore nett. It fared better than Arjun Rampal’s ‘Daddy’.

So together the films are not able to make as much as expected from them let us see if things take a turn by Monday.
