‘Bank Chor’ starring Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi chose a unique promotional strategy of promoting their film by trolling themselves and their film in front of the audience. This definitely engaged the people and made them curious to watch the film. Also, we know how perfect Riteish and Vivek are with their punchline timings and so it was all the more obvious for the audience to be excited.
But as much as they stole posters and songs, they couldn’t steal good numbers at the box office on its first day.
The film has managed to gross Rs 1.40-1.50 crore approximately, with Mumbai’s contribution being around Rs 50-60 lakh. This one’s even lower to Riteish’s last solo movie ‘Banjo’.
Now we’re only going to look at the rest of the week’s collection for which we need to wait.
Also, the much awaited Salman Khan starrer ‘Tubelight’ is going to release next week and we can’t wait for the movie to break records at the box office!
