Rohit Dhawan’s actions Dhamaka ‘Dishoom‘ is all about the buddy films that go on to make a moolah at the box-office. The time and tested formula was given a modern touch and voila we have a new attractive package for the audience.

The film starts with the disappearance of a star Indian batsman called Viraj (Saqib Saleem)is kidnapped 36 hours ahead of a make-or-break match. Enters the rough and tough no nonsense cop Kabir (John Abraham) who in a bid to bypass the stifling police department in the foreign country, decides to team up with the bumbling cop Junaid (Varun Dhawan). What happens next is for you to watch as the two when thrown into the cauldron, learn to work in tandem.

John Abraham with his drool-worthy body and action skills is a major crowd puller. On the other hand Chocolate boy Varun and Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandes have wowed fans by putting forward their best feet forward. Nargis Fakhri is just for decorative purpose. While Akshaye Khanna as the villainous Wagah is okayish. The actor who effortlessly stole the show with his surprise cameo was Akshay Kumar.

A family entertainer ‘Dishoom’ is worth a watch this weekend as The new age filmmaker has just added a whole lot of style to the same old substance. But it still works.
