Ajay Devgn‘s much-awaited film ‘Shivaay’ has finally hit the screens. It has some stunning visuals paired with hi-end action. Shivaay(Ajay Devgn) is a mountaineer. Some college students join him for a mountaineering mission. Olga (Erika Kaar), a Bulgarian studying at the Delhi University, is one of them. Love blossoms between the two and soon much to her dismay Olga realizes that she is pregnant. Leaving behind her daughter Gaura(Abigail Eames) with Ajay she flies back home.

Years later Shivaay decides to visit Bulgaria with his daughter. While saving a child from being sexually abused, he finds that his daughter has been kidnapped.

Will he be able to save his daughter? Will Shivaay and Olga reunite? All these and many more questions will be answered in Ajay Devgn’s action dhamaka.

The film has many plus points like the breathtaking location, the background score and the hi-end action sequences. The movie has concentrated more on the father-daughter relationship. Ajay Devgn has tried to make a visually beautiful film. If the first half holds your attention with the edge of the seat action the second half is a bit dragging. The cinematography is truly a visual treat to the eyes. Songs too add to the charm.

Ajay Devgn as ‘Shivaay’ is truly worth a watch. The Singham of Bollywood is not only outstanding in the action sequences but he has done well in emoting emotion too. Erika Kaar looks beautiful, Sayyeshaa Saigal has made a promising debut. Child star Abigail Eames is fantastic.

On the whole, ‘Shivaay’ is worth a watch this festive weekend.
