Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating 47 years in Bollywood. Big B’s debut film ‘Saat Hindustani’ had released 47 years back on November 7. The actor shared the poster of his debut film on Twitter to celebrate his more than four-decade-long career.
“Saat Hindustani revolved around the story of seven Indians who attempt to liberate Goa from the Portuguese rule. @SrBachchan….Goodness me … 47 years in the industry for me !!,” Bachchan tweeted.

Big B, who started his acting career in 1969 with the Khwaja Ahmad Abbas directed film, went on to become the star of the millennium The National Film Award winner has worked in titles like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Silsila’, ‘Abhimaan’, ‘Deewar’,’Don’, ‘Black’, ‘Paa’ and ‘Piku’.
Thanking Mumbai for the love bestowed on him the megastar wrote on his blog, “47 years of my life in this city of Mumbai that gave me all that I possess now, that engulfed me in its warm and affectionate embrace, nurtured me, protected me, pushed me, kicked me, reprimanded me, raised me to heights and crushed me with my falls, allowed me to make a beginning with the first film in profession.”
At present, the actor is all geared up for the shoot of ‘Thug’ co-starring Aamir Khan and Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Sarkar’.
