MNS Workers protest outside Karan Johar’s office

Karan Johar’s romantic saga ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ is in trouble. The film has hit a road block with Maharastra Navnirman Sena asking to delete Fawad Khan’s role from the movie. It so happened that a few days after the Uri Attack, MNS demanded Pakistani actors to leave the country.

The political group even threatened that ADHM will not be allowed to release. They want Fawad Khan’s role to be deleted from it. Reacting to these demands KJo had said that, “Will banning Pakistani talent from Hindi films stop terrorism?”

He had added, “I understand the anger of the people but banning Pakistani stars in India will not solve the problem. Today, I feel I am a vulnerable soft target… sometimes you want to, with folded hands, say that we are a creative industry, please leave us alone, we make movies, we spread love.”

Reportedly, at least 100 party workers gathered outside his Bandra residence around 12 pm and shouted slogans against the Johar, who has cast a prominent Pakistani actor in his upcoming release. Police has beefed up the security outside the director’s office.

We shall keep you updated on this soon.
