Priyanka Chopra to produce a Sikkimese-Nepalese film

Actress Priyanka Chopra who is considered a global icon today. Her foray into regional cinema is truly applaudable. The ‘Quantico‘ star who has produced Bhojpuri movie ‘Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi’, Marathi film ‘Ventilator’ and will soon have her third a Punjabi film titled ‘Sarvann’, which is slated to hit the big screens next week. The film boasts of a shabad sung by her late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra.

As per the latest buzz, PeeCee’s next is a Sikkimese-Nepalese film titled ‘Paua’. The story of the movie is based on two young children who get separated from their parents at the time of an unrest at the Indian border. The actress is keen on roping in local talent from Nepal and Sikkim.

The actress will be seen as a presenter in the upcoming 74th Golden Globe Awards on January 8 in Los Angeles. Her debut Hollywood flick ‘Baywatch’ will be releasing this year. The movie also stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Priyanka will be seen as antagonist Victoria Leeds in it.

On Bollywood front there are talks of a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
