We all know that Salman Khan has a clothing line named Being Human. And now, the actor is all set to venture into theatre business. If reports are to be believed, Salman will be starting a chain of six theatres. His clothing line is for charity work and this new start-up will also be for people’s benefit.
A source told a publication, “He will be lending his name to a theatre chain to promote tax-free viewing. As of now, six single screens across Maharashtra have been roped in and more locations are being explored. Tickets for films at his theatres will be available at heavily subsidised rates and free for children. Salman will be launching each screen himself.”
It is expected that the theatres will start off with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’. Apparently, the chain will expand to Uttar Pradesh by early 2017. The project titled as Salman Talkies will have tickets priced as cheap as Rs. 100.
When it comes to films, Salman is currently busy with ‘Tubelight’ which is slated to release on Eid next year.
