Shah Rukh Khan gets clean chit  in Wankhede brawl case

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been absolved of all charges by the Mumbai police in the 2012 Wankhede stadium brawl case. Following the incident, the Mumbai Cricket Association had imposed a five-year ban on Khan which was lifted last year. King Khan has been given a clean chit in the case in which he had apparently abused security personnel. 2012 Wankhede stadium brawl case.

“After the investigation, it was found that no cognisable offence had taken place,” said a police report filed in the court recently.

Police said in the report that they recorded the actor’s statement, and he denied the allegations.Shah Rukh Khan in his defence had said that security guard Vikas Dalvi asked him and his kids to leave the grounds after they entered it post his team Kolkata Knight Riders` victory. He added that as someone in the crowd spoke to him in an indecent language he got angry.

The complainant Amit Maru, had earlier filed a petition against him in the High Court in 2008, but the court’s verdict went in Shah Rukh’s favour. This time around the Badshah feels that Maru is doing all this for publicity

On career front, Shah Rukh Khan is at present busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’ with Anushka Sharma in Lisbon.
