The Festival that will commence from October 6 to 15 will screen Ali Abbas Zafar’s sports drama ‘Sultan’ which will open in the ‘Open Cinema’ section. Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Fan’ that is directed by Maneesh Sharma will open up in the ‘A Window On Asian Cinema’ section.
Where Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ is all about the wrestler Sultan Ali Khan of Haryana, SRK’s ‘Fan’ is about the obsession of fans for their idol that sometimes crosses the line causing immense trauma to both. The festival will kick start the YRF campaign for the theatrical release for both films in South Korea.
