Actress Priyanka Chopra was recently slammed on Twitter for sporting a tee with some insensitive words on it. The beauty is at present busy shooting for the second season of her show ‘Quantico’ in New York. She was recently seen posing on the cover page of Conde Nast Traveller magazine wearing a tee with an insensitive message printed on it. It hat has now become a subject of heated debate on Twitter.
The message on her tee didn’t go down well with Twitterati who soon went on a PeeCee bashing spree on the social network.
Sources said, “PeeCee recently appeared on the cover of Conde Nast Traveller in which she’s seen sporting a white tee that has the words ‘Refugee’, ‘Immigrant’ and ‘Outsider’ striked out, leaving the word ‘Traveller’ as it is. This was considered as insensitive by the Twitterati, especially at a time when the Syrian refugee crisis has already sparked off a lot of debates. They felt that she had offended refugees who had no choice but to flee their homeland owing to various unavoidable compulsion.”
